Lama Masri, in her own words:

“I am a fresh graduate from the Lebanese American University. My aim in life is to help in whatever way possible my community, which is what led me to start my own initiative called Baytuna in November 2008. Baytuna is an Entity that is dedicated to help and empower the most vulnerable sector in our society, women and children. Our endeavor is to improve the living conditions of these households by remodeling, reconstructing and supplying new furniture, appliances and basic needs to ensure a more comfortable and safe environment.

I am also a professional soccer player where I play for ANSAR , the first lady’s football club in Lebanon, and I play for my national football team. I am also on the University student council of the Lebanese American University. I am also working Part-time for Avalon Lebanon where I am a Marketing & P.R. Executive. The firm’s core business activity will be entertainment programming and distribution to the Middle East region.

My aim in life is to combine entertainment with humanitarian aid and create a business to help my community instead of profit making. So far I am at step one by starting Baytuna.”

Hi lama,

I have awaited this programme and today MBC aired the final episode aswell as the interview of you, sara and joeseph. I was dissapointed that the interview was very short and there were alot of things that should have been discussed further such as the part of you in the mosque and your feelings about your faith and life in Saudi Arabia.

Im planning to do a paper about this programme for uni and was wondering if you could spare some time to talk to me via e-mail or msn (now that your famous and all) as i have some questions and thoughts about your input into the programme.

My e-mail is catslikerats@hotmail.com
don’t ask!!
Many thanks
